Intel announced the launch of the Intel Solid-State Drive 730 Series, a performant SSD for gamers and workstation users alike.
The NAND and the third-generation Intel controller have been infused with data center DNA for quality and reliability, and factory tuned for extreme performance.
The 730 Series helps PCs respond more quickly, delivering low latency and high throughput. The drive comes with a 5-year warranty, and is available nowfor pre-order, and will be available for purchase starting on March 18.
Also, Intel announced that the "Make It Wearable" challenge is now open for submissions of one-minute videos that showcase creative ideas of what’s possible in wearable technology.
Intel will offer $5,000 to five winners, which will be invited to San Francisco for a gala event.
The Development Track will be open for submissions this summer, providing finalists with monetary support and intensive mentoring from industry leaders to develop prototype wearable designs.
The challenge offers awards that value over $1.3 million USD.
