Transistor review – All in one

Transistor stands as one of the most imaginative games to come out this year, and that says a lot when you've got titles like Banner Saga, Child of Light, or The Witness on the table.

SuperGiant's Transistor is a hard to describe experience. It is an unique little game, which uses its brightly coloured city, Cloudbank to draw you in, and leave the convoluted story and gruff talking "Transistor" to keep your interest. Sure, the combat, and exploration have their moments, but at the end of the day, you'll only remember Red and her "sword-y" friend.

As such, the less you know about Transistor, the more you can enjoy it. It has that Journey feel to it, by watching a Let's Play on YouTube, you're esentially missing out on what it has to offer.
