Fractal Design introduced the next Core cases, the X5 series

Fractal Design introduced the next generation of the Core family of cases, the X5 series. This new series is characterized by an intuitive and easy-to-access interior. There are 4 different X5 models.

The spacious Core 3500 offers many benefits typically only seen in significantly more expensive cases, such as great cable management, support for any CPU cooler, and superior ease of use. It comes with two (3500) or three (3500W) pre-installed 140mm fans, a built-in three-step fan controller, and can support up to two 240mm radiators or a 280mm radiator. Up to 4x 3.5" or 2.5" hard drives can be fitted in the steel hard drive trays, with vibration dampening silicone grommets. In addition, two additional SSD drive can be placed behind the motherboard tray.

The Core 2500 ATX case combines a clean exterior design with cooling and component compatibility. The case is equipped with two pre-installed 120mm fans, a built-in fan controller as well as support for a 280mm and 240mm water cooling radiators. Two hard drive cages hold up to 4x 3.5" or 2.5" hard drives on vibration dampened steel trays. An additional dedicated SSD mounting is available behind the power supply position.

The Core 1500 is the compact micro ATX Mini Tower of the x5 Series. It has a small footprint, yet it does not compromise on key features. It boasts a clean exterior coupled with excellent cooling, all at an attractive price point. The Core 1500 comes equipped with 2x pre-installed 120mm fans, a built-in three-speed fan controller as well as support for up to 2x 240mm water cooling radiators. Up to 4x 3.5" or 2.5" hard drives can be fitted in the vibration dampened hard drive trays with an additional dedicated SSD mounting placed behind the power supply position.
