Wolfenstein: The New Order's moon Nazis are going to be a thing from now on, aren’t they? Not that I’m complaining, it's refreshing to see them given some personality, even if completely silly, as opposed to being waves upon waves of generic mooks in uniforms that you shoot down.
Wolfenstein: The New Order takes a potentially very dark and what-if scenario – an alternate history in which the Third Reich wins the Second World War and establishes world dominance – and runs it firmly into ludicrous territory, in a surprisingly intelligent and certainly fun way. It’s not without a few flaws, and we’ll certainly give the devil his due below, but I think it certainly does achieve what it set out to do.
To find out what that is, let’s dive in and examine the logistics of shooting Nazis in the face. With industrial lasers. On the moon (sometimes).
