Asus Maximus VII HERO Review - Awakening The HERO Within!

It's the end of our journey with the Maximus VII HERO and to be honest i was pretty pleased with this motherboard.I like the components used and general layout.High-quality components and good spacing is what a good motherboard should have.Moving along to overclocking capabilities we were not thrilled to be honest.Lack of profiles and certain tricks will not make the MAXIMUS VII HERO a shinning star on the battlefield. However if you want a moderate overclock running stock XMP memory profile, look no further,HERO is more than capable.

Talking about price Maximus VII HERO comes shy of 220$,at a street price of ~219$.This makes HERO just a little bit more expensive compared to our previously-reviewed GENE.Hard choice here, because if you  do not care about ATX format and about the space in your case,it makes absolutely no logic to choose HERO instead of MAXIMUS VII GENE,since the later one features better overclocking and improved  sound. If you do want ATX form and a nice clean build then MAXIMUS VII HERO is what you seek for.
