ADATA announced the DashDrive HV620, an external slim hard drive that sports a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface. The new device can carry up to 1TB of data and has the weight of a smartphone.
HV620 includes a 2.5" hdd and benefits from a glossy housing, coupled with a bright blue LED that shows transfer status. A raised lip on the edge of the drive protects the lustrous surface from scratching when the drive is laid flat.
The DashDrive HV620 will be available initially in capacities of 500 gigabytes and 1 terabyte. Purchasers of ADATA's external storage devices are eligible for a free download of the latest Norton Internet Security 2013 anti-virus (60 day trial version), as well as the company's HDDtoGO software, ensuring better mobility and security.
The HV620 dimensions are 115 x 78 x 15 mm and weight is 165g (5.8 oz).
The MSRP value for HV620, in Europe, is 500G = 56.99€, 750G= 66.99€ and 1T = 80.99€. The drive comes with a three year warranty.
