X2 Aurel gaming headset review - Budget surprise

Comfort

X2 Aurel is a mildly comfortable pair of cans, though after a few hours of use, I have a few caveats with it. First, the headset clamps tightly, and this causes some strain on the top of the head. You see, since the headband doesn't use memory foam, the tight grip means your head will get in contact with the plastic / metal frame quickly. This means, after a few hours, it becomes somewhat unpleasant to use, and you have to take them off.

There's also the issue of the cups. Whilst my ears fit them nicely, someone with slightly larger ears might think Aurel is on-ear and not over-ear. Thankfully the cushions are soft, and they don't cause strain on the ears, though again my ears fitted inside just fine.

Specifications

Thankfully X2 is another one of those manufacturers that actually provides a complete spreadsheet with what its headsets features.
