Peter Molyneux’s Godus has been released on iOS platforms, and is now available on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, publisher DeNA announced today.
The iPhone and iPad game is a 91.5mb free download, and it comes with in-app purchases ranging from $1.99 to 49.99 depending on how many gems you intend to purchase. Godus was also released via Steam’s Early Access in September last year, and it's currently available for $19.99.
With Godus still being in development, an announcement from 22Cans and DeNA reads, the iOS app "will evolve over time." The company promises to add more powers, a "seemingly endless world where they will clash with rival gods,"live challenges and new abilities.
God, was originally pitched by Molyneux to be a spiritual successor to his God game classic Populous, and entered development after a successful Kickstarter campaign, with over £526,563 in pledges, significantly more than the original $450.000 goal.
