The mouse is currently priced at $59.99, €59.99, the same price as Corsair's M45 (sporting the same sensor), but with $10 and $20 cheaper than Roccat Kone Pure Military Edition and Mionix's Naos 7000. Perchance these are Rival's rivals, because the rodent doesn't only match em in performance, but it also crushes them when it comes to price.
Rival is an apt name for this mouse. It is a simple, yet interesting rodent, with one of those "perfect sensors," and a build that's unmatched for its price. I have one small gripe with it and that's the scroll wheel getting stuck when scrolling back. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's mighty frustrating.
I also have to put a disclaimer right around here. This mouse is excellent for palm-grip users, decent for fingertip, but almost unusable for clawgrip. With that being said however, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
- Great palm-grip fit;
- Great interior build-quality;
- Exhaustive software package;
- Excellent sensor;
- Scroll wheel gets stuck;
