Ubisoft has released a new Far Cry 4 trailer featuring the weapon arsenal available to players across the fictional Himalayan region, Kyrat.
The trailer showcases a plethora of weapons for all play-styles. If you decide to choose a stealth approach, you will have the crossbow and kukri at your disposal. If you want to turn the grasslands into molten fields of fire, that will also be made available with flamethrowers and destructive mortars. Overall, the game follows the Far Cry 3 mantra, and promises at least the same amount of versatility when it comes to combat.
The weapons are to be supplied by the former warlord Longinus, who says he found God after nearly dying in the civil war. Travelling with several missionary expeditions, he finally returned to Kyrat, getting caught up in yet another civil war. Longinus may be a devout religious man, but he's willing to sell guns and supplies, while advocating that they fight for their freedom, because he knows from experience that warlords don’t simply go away.
The previous week, Ubisoft released another Far Cry 4 trailer, starring the game's primary antagonist, the unhinged dictator Pagan Min.
Developed by Ubisoft Montréal in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios, Far Cry 4 will be available worldwide on November 18 for PlayStation4 and PlayStation3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
