Ubisoft has released the minimum and recommended Far Cry 4 System requirements, as well as a brand new trailer detailing visual enhancements added to the game.

The Publisher has been working alongside NVidia to add a lot of technologies to the PC version of the game, all of which are nicely showcased in the trailer available below. Also below are the specs revealed today on the UbiBlog.

Far Cry 4 - Elephants

Minimum:

Supported OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1 (64-bit versions only)
Processor: Intel Core i5-750 @ 2.6 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2 GHz
Memory: 4GB
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD5850 (1GB VRAM)
Direct X: Version 11
Hard Drive: 30 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers

Optimal:

Supported OS: MS Windows 7 SP1, MS Windows 8/8.1 (64-bit versions only)
Processor: Intel Core i5-2400S @ 2.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or better
Memory: 8GB
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon R9 290X or better (2GB VRAM)
Direct X: Version 11
Hard Drive: 30 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers

If you have the specs to match the requirements, the new NVidia trailer should provide at least a glimpse into what you should be looking for: PCSS, HBAO+, TXAA, Godrays, Hairworks. What this means is Far Cry 4 will be a gorgeous game, that is, if you have the hardware to back it all up.

Far Cry 4 is scheduled for release on November 18 on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
