Microsoft has announced that Screamride, Frontier Development's spiritual successor to Roller Coaster Tycoon, is slated for launch on Xbox and Xbox 360 in March 2015.
The game, originally revealed at Gamescom in August, currently being developed by Elite: Dangerous studio Frontier Development is slated for release on 6th March in Europe and March 3rd in North America. Screamride will retail for $39.99 on Xbox One and $29.99 on Xbox 360.
The game is said to contain more than 50 levels, online leaderboards, and three different game modes: Engineer, ScreamRider and Demolition Expert.
As it stands, the title seems similar to RollerCoaster Tycoon, with large destructible set-pieces, where you are tasked to "break the laws of physics" and demolish various environments.
At the time of writing, Microsoft has not detailed the release date for Asia / the Pacific, but will continue sharing details with us until the game is released in March.
