ASUS has decided to pair down the Strix Claw with Strix Tactic Pro, and the same software bundle available for the mouse is in use here. It looks slightly even more rudimentary than Claw's version, but it does the job. Hardware & Software mode dictate if the modifications are stored in the peripheral's internal memory of up to 3-profiles, or respectively, in the computer, with no limitations in place.
You can assign commands, either from a pre-determined selection menu or by using your very own macros, on 21 specified buttons, respectively the 10-side M-keys, the F-keys, thumb and upper Print-Screen / Scroll Lock / Pause Break keys.
You can link Profiles to Applications, but other than that, there are no additional options / features available, like backlighting customization, or Key-Press Heatmaps.
Similarly to the Strix-Claw counterpart, the macro can be as long as 32-keys, and after completion you can assign tweak it around, changing record delay or modify it according to your needs.
