Slightly Mad Studios, the developer behind Project Cars, has promised new cars to be released every month free of charge.
The game was originally due out last November, but was delayed last once to 20th March, once to 2nd April, and now it's slated for release in mid-May 2015. Earlier this month, Slightly Mad Studios has promised free content as compensation once the game will come out. Now, it has announced that it's expanding the effor, by adding new car DLCs every month for free.
The first free car is the Lykan HyperSport, a futuristic looking hyper-car that is set to star in the Furious 7 film in April and then Project Cars in May.
"We are immensely pleased to have this awesome machine in the game and to give fans the chance to get behind the wheel of a truly amazing vehicle. The Lykan Hypersport represents the first of a series of free cars we’ll be giving away every month as a thank you to our fans for being so patient for the launch of the game. We’ll have more info on the full schedule of further content for Project CARS soon but we hope that this is a great sneak peek of just one way in which Project CARS is going to expand in the future.” Project Cars creative Director Andy Tudos said in a blog-post on the official website.
