Following the announcement trailer earlier this month, Bethesda has prepared a lot of Fallout 4 details during their E3 conference on Sunday.
The copany has prepared a number of gameplay trailers, detailing the character creation and customization system, as well a ton of concept-art and screenshots. It seems the upcoming title will start before the nuclear fallout, and after surviving the nukes, we would be playing as the sole survivor of Vault 111, some 200 years later.
We got a sneak-peek at the upgraded Pip-boy, met Dogmeat, and saw a return of the updated VATS aiming system. Bethesda also promises the game will feature a crafting system, which will allow you to make your weapon or customize your armor. Not only that, but it seems Fallout 4 also promises base-building, with salvage missions, building homes, running power through it, adding automated turrets for defense and more. You will be able to establish bases across the desert and run caravans between them.
Bethesda has already announced a Collector's edition for Fallout 4, coming with an actual Pip-Boy featuring a smartphone dock and a companion app for both Android and iOS devices, allowing you to pair the Pip-oy to the game, and use it as a secondary screen. As Bethesda's Todd Howard put it: "As far as stupid gimmicks go, this is the best fucking one I've ever seen."
However, the most important bit of news is the release date, with Fallout 4 releasing on November 10, 2015.
As expected, here is some of that gameplay showcase that was revealed at E3.
