The civilization building strategy game is coming November 3, Ubisoft has announced during its E3 press-conference. The company confirmed a beta will be coming for the title later this year. A CG trailer was prepared, suggesting the title will be set in space, though the official website suggests the game will still have you colonizing continents on Earth, while setting up bases on the moon for resources.
Deeloped by Blue Byte, the city-builder is developed for PC only. According to the developer, the game promises many different environments, and even different game worlds.
"In Anno 2205 players will join mankind’s next step into the future, with the promise of building a better tomorrow by expanding into space," Ubisoft said in a press release. "Players must develop rich metropolises on Earth that are capable of launching missions to the moon as they race to establish production colonies on the lunar surface. By mining the Moon’s resources to send back down to Earth, Anno 2205 players will receive the benefits of technological advancements and the tools to help expand their cities and transform them into thriving metropolises."
