Antec has announced the GX200, a quiet and affordable mid-tower chassis.
Antec has presented an entry level Quiet Computing enclosure designed for gaming - the GX200. Currently, the case features "lavishly dimensioned interior". It also comes with a distinctive front-grill that improves air-flow and can light up in red or blue depending on the model. Since the interior is "lavishly" dimensioned - the case allows the installation of a 380mm graphics-card, and motherboards of ATX, mATX and mini-ITX size. Lastly, storage compartments are divided between 1x5.25", 1x2.5", and 4x 3.5" cages. Maximum supported air-cooler height for the CPU is of 158mm.
Antec also promises an optimized cable-management behind the mainboard with sensibly arranged channels guarantees a tidy interior of the gaming PC.
GX200 comes with up to three 120mm fans. One standard fan has already been mounted at the rear. In the versions GX200 RED and GX 200 BLUE, two 120mm fans have already been mounted at the front. The convenient upper compartment also offers space for additional equipment as well as mobile devices, which need to be easily accessible. USB 3.0 connectivity for lightning-fast data transmission is available at all times thanks to the front panel connections.
