TUL Corporation today introduced its new R9 series graphics card, the PowerColor R9 290X. The card uses the new AMD GPU, taking advantage of DirectX 11.2 graphics, being deeply integrated with Windows 8.1. The new card supports 4K ultra HD gaming in single and multi-display configurations.
The PowerColor R9 290X card comes with the R9 290X overclocked to 1030MHz, and a memory speed of 1250Mhz. The card comes built in with with 4GB of GDDR5 and a new 512-bit high speed interface, for higher speed and bandwidth for high-performance GPUs. The PowerColor R9 290X also features 2816 stream processors significantly increasing parallel computing power for resource-intensive applications.
The brand new R9 290X GPU comes with a number of new technologies built-in. TrueAudio technology the first discrete GPU featuring programmable audio pipeline is included, delivering a unique audio user experience on PCs. With AMD CrossFire technology, users can get exceptional performance scaling with a second GPU. Thanks to AMD Eyefinity technology, gamers can enjoy “wrap around” multi-display set-ups.
The new PowerColor R9 290X also comes in a limited edition that will be bundled with Battlefield 4.
