Cooling solutions manufacturer Enermax expanded their all-in-one liquid cooler range today with two entry-level models, the Liqmax series. The technologies and functions integrated into the Liqtech cooler series in are designed for strong multi-core processors. The water block contains a low-noise pump with durable ceramic bearings, which circulate liquid to the cold plate, which uses Enermax’s Shunt Channel Technology
Heat disspation is achieved through a wide channel that breaks through the standard micro-fin structure, boosting the liquid flow rate. By contrast to the Liqtech coolers, the new Liqmax comes with an extruded cold plate which reinforces the contact with the CPU and enhances the heat transfer.
The cooling system’s tubes are made from a robust, flexible synthetic material (FEP – Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene), which effectively eliminates the evaporation of the cooling fluid. Both models of the Liqmax series are delivered with one 12cm Twister bearing fan. Depending on individual preference and requirements, users can choose between a cool blue illuminated T.B. Apollish Advance fan (model ELC-LM120S-TAA) and a Twister Pressure fan (model ELC-LM120S-HP). The latter has been specially designed for CPU coolers and radiators. The shape of the fan blades and the vibration-free material allow for higher-pressure air flow and a better balance between cooling performance and noise generation.
The Enermax Liqmax is now on sale, for a suggested retail price of € 69.90.
