CyberLink announced that its video editing software, PowerDirector 12, now empowers consumers with an end-to-end solution to create and produce Ultra-HD 4K content, through its support of the XAVC S format.
Ultra-HD 4K is the industry standard for ultra-high definition and is increasingly featured on televisions, and now, camcorders, and was prominently featured as a flagship technology at the recently-completed Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
With the emergence of Sony high-definition camcorders in the consumer market, the Sony XAVC S video format has been widely adopted by video enthusiasts. To ensure users have the most comprehensive Ultra-HD 4K video editing experience, CyberLink PowerDirector 12 now provides full compatibility of XA VC S video format support.

Chang, CEO of CyberLink. "With this, PowerDirector 12 users can now create and produce video content at a whole new level of quality and realism."
