Fractal Design announced the launch of its new micro ATX chassis, Node 804, at CeBIT 2014.
The chassis focuses on cooling performance and maximum configurability, providing an elegant design. It features a dual chamber layout, that separates hot running components from the cooler ones, allowing unrestricted airflow over the motherboard, processor and graphic cards.
The case includes three Silent Series R2 120mm fans, but allows the instalation of an additional 7 fans. It also offers options for placing water cooling components, tall heat sinks and hard drives.
Other features include a minimalistic design, with brushed aluminum front panel, a hard drive mounting system fitting up to 8 x 3.5″, 4 x 2.5” or up to 10 x 3.5”, 2 x 2.5″ drives HDD/SSD, removable dust filters providing a dust-free interior, a window side panel, additional space in the front to mount a slim optical bay drive and 2x2.5″ drives, a fan controller included, and five expansion slots that allow for multiple GPU setups.
Node 804 has a maximum radiator configuration (1x240mm,1x280mm and 2x120mm radiators), and offers space for up to four radiators simultaneously.
The Node 804 chassis will be available in May, for $109.99/€99.99.
