Asus Maximus VII HERO Review - Awakening The HERO Within!

   The UEFI interface is using the same colours seen at Maximus VII Gene,however we have slight differences regards UEFI options.Being a mainstream board usually means you get mainly the same user experience as the high-end products but not so detailed overclocking options.Therefore:

- No overclocking profiles are to be found,reaching 184 BCLK was a matter of search and apply;

- No memory overclocking profiles,basically you have to tweak frequency and timings manually by your own experience/knowledge

- No Fully Manual Mode for controlling specific voltages.

Since we do not have the basics,the lack of LN2 mode profiles and other memory subtle timings comes as no suprise.

In the end the HERO UEFI is  nice looking,smooth and feature packed,but it is not geared towards hardcore overclockers therefore the lack of some features.We can still save profiles and also have EZ MODE that is simply a much more friendly interface for casual user.
