Capcom has officialy Resident Evil: Revelations 2, launching in early 2015. The game is set to arrive on PS4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
The publisher made the announcement at Sony's pre-TGS PlayStation press-conference in Japan Today. According to earlier rumors, the sequel will feature a new setting, and new protagonists.
The announcement follows a leaked Xbox.com listing last week, which showcased the box-art and a game screenshot.
New information on Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be announced next week, Capcom said. The original Revelations was originally released for Nintendo 3DS in early 2012, serving as a return to its survival horror roots. The sequel is being developed by the same core-team as the original game. More information is due at Tokyo Game Show later this month, along with a playable demo at the show.
In February, Capcom said that the console and PC versions of Resident Evil: Revelations reached over 1.1 million in sales.
