BrainWavz S0 IEM review - Balancing a budget earphone

Fit & Comfort

The reason why IEMs and me don't get along is the overall fit. Each individual has unique ear-canals, so there is no such thing as universal IEM fit. Not only that, but there are people, myself included who have one ear-canal slightly different to the other one. This means most single-silicon flanges will not fit very well, no matter the earphone type. I tried the medium silicone tips, and they fit decent enough, but didn't isolate properly. The complys on the other hand are a different story. They're at least comfortable enough for extended wear and provide more than adequate isolation.

Since both tips remained intact during insertion and removal, I'd say the nozzle design does its job quite well.
