Sony Online Entertainment's H1Z1 has now popped up on Steam, as it was promised last week. The game will be available via Early Access in a few days. It will be in an unfinished state, buggy, and subjected to change as the developer sees it.
The game will enter Early Access Alpha, describing the design and development as "fully transparent," and says the release is your "chance to experience and make a difference in H1Z1 as it evolves throughout the development process."
The developers then went on to say "The H1Z1 development team will continue to create new features and may make significant changes based on the needs of the game. Those who choose to purchase Early Access should anticipate an evolving feature set, bugs, incomplete content, missing features, and potentially game breaking issues. Early Access is designed for those wishing to support the ongoing development of H1Z1 and be a part of shaping its future."
So what is H1Z1? Well, its the latest in a long, long line of survival games with Zombies, this one featuring crafting, base-building, vehicles, a day & night cycle, weather, hunting and foraging. So a very ambitious zombie game that might actually work properly.
H1Z1 will be made available in two versions: Standard, with 3 event tickets, 1 launch crate key, and 2 crates; Premium on the other hand contains 25 event tickets, 3 air-drop tickets, 4 launch Crate Keys, 6 crates an an exclusive Aviator Hat Crafting recipe.
Right now, no prices are listed, but the standard edition will appareantly be around $20 dollars. You can check H1Z1's Steam page right here.
