Grand Theft Auto V pre-load starts now on Steam

Grand theft Auto V will release on PC in about a week, and for those who have pre-ordered GTA V on PC through Steam can start pre-loading the game today.

Rockstar Games has announced, via its support section, that the pre-loading for the game will start today. Anyone who have purchased the game through Rockstar Warehouse or Steam will be able to download the game later today.

The studio has not specified the time when the files go live, but has said it will update when the information is available.

There’s no word on the actual file-size, but the Steam page asks you to free-up a 65GB space on your hard-drive. Of course, most sizes reported on games Steam pages are a bit larger than the actual download size, but when the game arrived on Xbox One/PS43 it still had a whopping 44GB initial download.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is slated for release on PC on April 14. Until such a time, you can check the 1080p / 60FPS PC trailer below.
