Shortly after the GTX 780 arrival, EVGA decided to maximize your experience and build EVGA Geforce GTX 780 Hydro Copper edition. The name is very sugestive and implies the liquid cooling solution.
Hydro Copper features a swappable inlet/outlet for maximum compatibility and is a full cover solution, to cool the GPU, memory and VR altogether. A 0.25mm x 0.35mm pin matrix provides optimal thermal transfer from the GPU to the liquid and ensures the lowest temperatures possible.
Up to six different barb configurations gives you the utmost in flexibility for routing your tubing. The kit includes both 3/8" and 1/2" compression fittings. No hose clamps required.
A liquid cooled board should provide some performance, so EVGA clocked the GPU at 980MHz (80MHz more than NVIDIA reference). For further overclocking EVGA Precision software has been adapted to show all the latest Geforce vitals.
There will be two versions: EVGA GTX 780 Hydro Copper and the Classified edition, which is not rated yet.
